Our application for Mass fulfilment uses the Warehouse API to fulfil orders.

This new feature to require a Home Outlet issue is causing the orders to not close on REX.


Go have went into the POS Setting > Customer Setting and unticked ‘Home Outlet’.
 
 
Please see an example below when you manually try to fulfil ...

click on the ‘E’ (edit) icon which brings up the details of the order (below).
 
 
I then clicked on the ‘>’ to manually fulfil all the products on the order. And then clicked ‘Update’ at the bottom of the screen. But as I clicked on ‘Update’ it would bring up the following message.
 
 
When you follow the prompt, it takes you to the customer’s billing page. You would then have to select a ‘Home outlet’ for the customer in order to complete the whole process.
 
 

This is a field which Retail Express has recently added to the list of customer attributes which can be toggled to be mandatory. Can you go into the POS Settings > Customer Settings and untick the Home Outlet field in the "Required fields for customers" section? We can then see if this is causing the API to fail.

Unfortunately the Home Outlet is NOT set for online orders only in store.


This change will break all of our fulfilment applications.
