Planned Server Maintenance and effect on THQ

 
Next week Retail Express will be performing necessary maintenance on some servers. This will impact the availability of your system. As such, we're letting you know in advance so that you can make the necessary preparations.

This necessary maintenance is being performed Monday - Wednesday evenings after 9pm AEST, and there may be a period of time where parts of your system may be unavailable for up to 60mins. We will try to minimise the impact as much as possible.

 We will send a reminder next week, as well as display an alert in the Back Office (including sidebar) and POS.

Details:

  • Services affected include: 
    • POS (we strongly encourage installing Offline POS)
    • Back Office
    • Inventory Planning API
    • Warehouse Management API
    • Webstore/eCommerce API
  • Not impacted
    • The Retail Express Shopify Connector
    • EDS API (used for Magento 2 and some THQ integrations)
  • You will not need to resynchronise integrations or manually enter transactions into Retail Express
  • The system should catch up with processing once systems are restored
  • Your daily orders will not align for these days and you will need to consider different balancing techniques.
  • Your online store will only offer the stock present before the outage and so should not over sell.
  • Cash ups will need to be processed in POS when back online, so you will need to either wait for POS to go back online, or run your Cash Up before you begin trading the next day
