Shopify Sales Channels and Publishing Products

In the olden days Shopify used the "Publishing" Status to decide when to make things available to the Shopify website. As they have added POS, Shop etc they added a new feature called channels.

I have just noticed something else on our site and I am a little confused.  The below parts are on REX as On Web but there is no sales channel selected and they don’t show on our website. This is only a handful I have noticed – is there a way of simplifying the list to only show these with that unticked?

 

 

Yes Sales channels and keeping up with them has replaced the old "published" status. It can be a hard one to work with now there are so many possible sales channels.'

Setting these will always be your responsibility and it may be something you want to look at automating with Shopify Flow?
