Why do we use a staging environment ?

Modified on Tue, 28 Nov, 2023 at 11:52 AM

You are on the staging environment when we first implement you until we have all issues locked and sorted.

A staging site's main purpose is to ensure that all new changes are working as intended before they hit the "live" system. By using a staging site and testing everything before going to production we are able to eliminate bugs and issues, so they never affect the "live" system. We can respond to issues and changes quickly even if they require coding changes.

Once on production we cannot make major changes outside the 2 week regular new versions.
