Cache Refresh

Modified on Wed, 7 Oct at 11:52 AM

When product information does not appear to be updating correctly, refreshing the cache can help ensure that the latest data is being used.

This can be useful when stock, price, product details, or other information has already been updated but the previous data is still being displayed.

WooCommerce

For WooCommerce, the cache can be refreshed from the WordPress Admin Dashboard.

Go to:

WooCommerce → Status → Tools

The following options can be used where required:

  • Clear WooCommerce transients
  • Clear expired transients
  • Regenerate product lookup tables

After completing the refresh, check the affected product again to confirm that the latest information is displayed.

Shopify

For Shopify, product information can be refreshed by reloading the latest product data through the integration.

After the cache/product data has been refreshed, check the affected product in Shopify and confirm that the latest stock, price, and product information are available.

If the Issue Continues

If refreshing the cache does not resolve the issue, check whether the latest data has successfully reached WooCommerce or Shopify.

Further investigation may be required in the product sync, transfer queue, API connection, or error logs.
