The integration can not set Variation dimensions. You can over ride in WooCommerce but this is not something the connector supports. We can only support the PRODUCT dimensions.
Shipping
- Weight – Weight for the variation, or left blank to use the product’s weight.
- Dimensions – Height, width and length for the variation, or left blank to use the product’s dimensions.
- Shipping class – Shipping class can affect shipping. Set this if it differs from the product.
So what is the advantage of grouping the products by Manufacturer SKU?
The grouped product are combined of variants work great, but they are meant for variations of the same product.
For example finishes / colours etc not completely different dimensions or products.
You should not group products that are too different as your shipping and other systems will not be able to read this.
