Retail Express does not have or need a “Master product" it only uses the Manufacturer SKU to group by.
If you fail to put a Manufacturer SKU in the REX system we will assume it to be the same as the supplier SKU. If this exists as a Manufacturer SKU it will try to create a variable product.
